Once again CATNZ was contracted by the Wellington City Council to pull together the now iconic Diwali Festival of Lights. This was a showcase of traditional, classical and contemporary Indian music dance and theatre as well as a celebration of Indian cuisine from across the regions. There was also a strong educational aspect with lectures on the spiritual, historical and literary traditions of Diwali.
An estimated 30,000 people attended this hugely successful event.
